Details
The BB Brittany, named after one of Jeffrey's three daughters, is reminiscent of the classic detailing of the Regency period. The acrylic reflects a traditional shape in a crystal like silhouette. More than two decades of innovation in acrylic fabrication by Jeffrey Bigelow are represented here. By laminating thick slabs of acrylic, Bigelow is able to create massive "blocks" of acrylic from which he can sculpt intricate components for his creations. The base is cast bronze. The original pattern, as with all of Bigelow's castings was mad by the artist hands to insure the perfect shape and form.
