Details

The SM Desk (Circa 1980) was the first, of only a limited attempts by Jeffrey Bigelow,  to incorporate wood with acrylic.  This magnificent structure is unparalleled in mixed media fabrication.  Bigelow, who had never worked in wood before this creation, applied every sophisticated technique available to his woodworking craftsman counterparts, to this design.  Solid gold foundry castings, inlayed satin wood detail, curved and double bull nose edge work.  Jeffrey finished the table with lacquer steel wool sanding each coat to insure perfection in the satin finish.
