Details
The CL Fluer De Lis series is a design concept that was created just after the Renwick Gallery "Craft Multiples" exhibition in 1976. The design was created in 1977 and represents two turning points in the artist design evolution. First, the "thick" acrylic era for the artist. Second. the classic shape represented Jeffrey's first step into three dimensional design. Jeffrey describes three dimensional design as design that cannot be revealed from either plan or elevation views but rather must be seen in perspective view.
